US Oil / USD

USOIL is WTI crude oil (West Texas Intermediate) quoted in US dollars, the world's most actively traded energy futures product listed on NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange), priced in USD per barrel. Its electronic session on CME Globex trades nearly 24 hours a day (opening Sunday 18:00 and closing Friday 17:00 ET, with a daily 17:00–18:00 maintenance break; closed on weekends). WTI and Brent crude (ICE, London) are the two global benchmarks for crude oil pricing, significantly influenced by OPEC+ meetings, EIA inventory data, geopolitics and the US dollar index.
