Singapore Exchange (SGX)
SGX is a major Asian derivatives exchange whose FTSE China A50 Index futures are the core offshore vehicle for trading China A-shares — A50 lets international investors hedge or express China views after A-shares close, often called the overnight barometer for the Chinese market. Two sessions (Singapore Time): T session 09:00–16:35 and T+1 session 17:00–05:15 the following morning, separated by a 16:35–17:00 settlement break; closed on weekends. A50 is highly sensitive to mainland policy headlines and pre-open A-share sentiment.
