Cboe Global Markets operates four U.S. national securities exchanges — BZX, BYX, EDGA and EDGX. BZX is an SEC-registered national exchange that lists and trades equities (the same Cboe family created the VIX volatility index and S&P 500 options market). Stocks listed on Cboe exchanges trade in sync with the U.S. market: Monday–Friday 9:30–16:00 ET. Cboe is among the largest U.S. equities market operators on any given day.
