US30 tracks the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), one of the oldest US stock indices, composed of 30 blue-chip US companies and price-weighted — a traditional benchmark for large-cap US equities. Its futures trade electronically on CME Globex (E-mini Dow, ticker YM) with near-24-hour sessions: opening Sunday 17:00 and closing Friday 16:00 Central Time, with a daily 16:00–17:00 CT maintenance break; closed on weekends. The Dow is driven by Fed rate decisions, nonfarm payrolls and CPI inflation data, constituent earnings season and overall market risk sentiment.
