ITB10Y tracks the Eurex BTP futures (FBTP) on 10-year Italian government debt — the largest peripheral bond market in the eurozone. The soul of BTP trading is the BTP-Bund spread: the yield gap to German debt is the market's core thermometer for eurozone fiscal risk (widen sharply in euro-crisis and Italian-budget episodes) and is highly sensitive to Italian politics and ECB purchase programs. Prices move inversely to yields. Sessions: Monday–Friday 01:10–22:00 CET, same-day; closed on weekends.
