EURSCHL tracks the Eurex Euro-Schatz futures (FGBS) on 2-year German federal debt — the front-end liquidity tool most sensitive to ECB deposit-rate expectations, effectively a direct expression of the ECB path; with the shortest duration and lowest volatility it often pairs with Bund/Bobl in curve strategies. Prices move inversely to yields. Sessions: Monday–Friday 01:10–22:00 CET, same-day; closed on weekends.
