UST10Y tracks CBOT 10-Year US Treasury Note futures (ticker ZN) on $100,000 face value — the core tool of global interest-rate risk management. The 10-year yield is the 'world's asset-pricing anchor', benchmarking mortgage rates and corporate borrowing; futures prices move inversely to yields and are highly sensitive to Fed decisions, CPI inflation, nonfarm payrolls and Treasury auction supply, typically rallying (yields falling) when risk-off demand rises. Hours: opening Sunday 17:00 and closing Friday 16:00 Central Time, with a daily 16:00–17:00 CT maintenance break; closed on weekends.
