CHINAH tracks the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI) — mainland companies listed in Hong Kong (H-shares and red chips: Tencent/Alibaba/Meituan/CCB/Ping An), a purer China exposure than the Hang Seng itself (which still holds international names like HSBC), making it the sharpest Hong Kong expression of pure China risk; it reacts more violently than the HSI to mainland policy (platform economy/property/easing) and US-China relations. Futures hours match the HSI (Hong Kong time): 09:15–12:00, 13:00–16:30, T+1 17:15–03:00 next morning; closed on weekends.
