MT4 Bridge EA Setup

Before you start

• Your MT4 terminal is installed and signed in to your trading account
• You know where MT4 is installed (the app copies the EA file for you - no need to find the data folder manually)

Setup steps (~30 seconds)

Once attached, the app connects automatically and pulls in your symbol list (the status line turns to Connected).

1. 1 Open Camovia Tray Settings → Data Source, and choose the "MT4 driver"
2. 2 Click "Copy bridge EA into MT4" - the app copies CamoviaBridge into the MT4 data folder automatically
3. 3 Open any MT4 chart (double-click any symbol in Market Watch to open one)
4. 4 Press Ctrl+N to open the Navigator, then double-click "CamoviaBridge" to attach it to the chart

Enable AutoTrading to close positions

To close positions from the popup, turn on the "AutoTrading" button in the MT4 toolbar (or press Ctrl+E). That's how MT4 works: the EA needs this permission to execute trades.

If you only want to check quotes and positions without closing, you can leave it off.

Is the bridge EA safe?

• The bridge EA is a local program file bundled with the app - no DLLs, no network access
• It only reads quotes and positions locally and executes close commands you initiate
• It uploads nothing and never trades on its own

Updates and versions

After an app update, if the bundled EA has a newer version, the connection status shows "EA version too low". Open Settings → Data Source, click "Update EA", then restart MT4 as prompted.
