Camovia Tray Now Supports MT4: Turn Your MT4 into a Tray Tool

Bottom line: Camovia Tray now supports MetaTrader 4 (MT4) - just like MT5, you can turn your MT4 into a tray tool: hover for quotes, monitor positions, hide the window in one click, and keep all data on your computer.

Whether you trade on both MT4 and MT5, or MT4 only - you can now put your quotes and positions into the system tray with Camovia Tray. MT4 has no official external API, so we use a bundled bridge EA to read the data locally. No configuration server, no open ports, and your data never leaves your computer.

What MT4 support includes

• Hover for quotes: hover the tray icon to see live quotes for your selected symbols.
• Position monitoring: the popup Positions tab shows open positions - symbol, direction, volume, open price, and P&L at a glance.
• One-click close: click a position card to close it - tap Close, then Confirm (requires AutoTrading enabled in MT4).
• One-click hide: hide the MT4 main window from the taskbar and Alt+Tab, and restore it any time.
• Dual-terminal switching: switch between MT5 and MT4 in Settings any time; the previous terminal is cleaned up like on app exit.

One-time MT4 setup (~30 seconds)

1. In Settings → Data Source, choose the "MT4 driver" and click "Copy bridge EA into MT4".
2. Open any MT4 chart, press Ctrl+N to open the Navigator, and double-click "CamoviaBridge" to attach it.
3. To close positions, turn on AutoTrading in the MT4 toolbar (or press Ctrl+E).
