Euro / US Dollar

EURUSD is the world's most traded currency pair, showing how many US dollars one euro buys. Forex is an over-the-counter (OTC) market where the Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York financial centers trade in relay, creating a nearly 24-hour continuous cycle (opening Sunday 17:00 and closing Friday 17:00 ET; closed on weekends). The pair is driven by the interest-rate policies of the European Central Bank (ECB) and the US Federal Reserve, US nonfarm payrolls and CPI inflation data, and the US dollar index, with the highest liquidity during the London–New York overlap.
