SMI 20

SWI20 tracks the Swiss Market Index (SMI) — the blue-chip benchmark of Zurich's SIX exchange where Nestlé (consumer) plus Roche and Novartis (pharma) alone exceed half the weight, making the SMI a concentrated expression of global healthcare and defensive consumption; long lower-volatility than European peers with a safe-haven tint (Swiss franc financial system). Sensitive to USD/CHF (giants' revenue is mostly dollar), the global pharma R&D cycle and risk-off flows. Cash sessions (Zurich time): Mon–Fri 09:00–17:30; closed on weekends; SMI futures extend on Eurex.
