What is this

Open All Charts is a batch chart-opening script for MT4/MT5: one run opens charts for your symbol list at the set timeframe and tiles the windows. Multi-symbol traders repeat this ritual every morning — the script turns it into a double-click. Runs once and exits.

How it works

  1. Opens charts one by one via ChartOpen for the built-in symbol list
  2. Timeframes and tiling are parameterized (uniform period or per-chart settings)
  3. Already-open charts are skipped or reused to avoid duplicates

  1. 1. Download

    Grab the zip via the buttons above

  2. 2. Unpack & copy

    Put .ex4/.ex5 and .mq4/.mq5 into the matching MQL4/MQL5 folders

  3. 3. Enable

    Restart or refresh the Navigator, drag it onto a chart, allow automated trading

Usage notes

  • Compile from MQL4/Scripts (or MQL5/Scripts); drop on any chart to execute
  • Edit the symbol list in the inputs or source to match your watchlist; the MT4 source file is named OpelAllCharts.mq4 (an upstream typo, fully functional)

⚠ Risk notes

  • MT4 caps the number of open chart windows (about 100 by default) — an overly long list gets truncated

Frequently asked questions

▸ Why is the MT4 file called OpelAllCharts?

That's the upstream source name (a typo, but fully functional); we keep it verbatim for traceability.

▸ Can each chart get a different timeframe?

Yes — timeframes are set per entry in the inputs or the in-source symbol list.

▸ Will it disturb my existing layout?

No, it only opens charts that are missing; nothing is closed or rearranged.
