What is this

An open-source Market Profile indicator: it aggregates traded volume per price level over a chosen period and draws the POC, value area, and profile silhouette so you can see where the market found consensus. Single-file source, MT4 and MT5 builds, maintained by the EarnForex community for years.

How it works

Splits time into daily, weekly, or custom windows
Accumulates volume per price level and renders a horizontal profile
Auto-labels the POC and the VAH/VAL value-area edges
Style and colors are configurable; multiple profiles can stack

Grab the zip via the buttons above
2. Unpack & copy
Put .ex4/.ex5 and .mq4/.mq5 into the matching MQL4/MQL5 folders
3. Enable
Restart or refresh the Navigator, drag it onto a chart, allow automated trading

Usage notes

Profiles read best on high-data instruments like index futures; metals and major FX pairs work too
On MT5 prefer brokers with real volume data; MT4 only has tick volume

⚠ Risk notes

MT4's tick volume is not real volume, so profile shapes will differ from futures
Market Profile is analysis, not signals: POC and value areas are not guaranteed support/resistance
