What is this

Ghost SL & TP is a position-management EA for MT4/MT5: it monitors filtered positions locally and closes them at market when price reaches your hidden SL/TP distances — the actual stop levels are never sent to the trading server, removing visible targets for stop-hunting. It doesn't open trades; it provides hidden risk lines and exit execution only.

How it works

  1. Filters positions by symbol/magic/direction and loads hidden SL/TP distance inputs
  2. Watches bid/ask locally and closes at market when a hidden line is touched
  3. Positions appear as naked (no SL/TP) server-side; risk levels live only on your machine

    Grab the zip via the buttons above

  2. 2. Unpack & copy

    Put .ex4/.ex5 and .mq4/.mq5 into the matching MQL4/MQL5 folders

  3. 3. Enable

    Restart or refresh the Navigator, drag it onto a chart, allow automated trading

Usage notes

  • The zip has the Experts source, Include dependencies, and the icon — extract as-is and compile
  • Configure filters per position group before enabling; confirm via the panel/log that hidden levels are active

⚠ Risk notes

  • The biggest risk is disconnection: while your machine is offline, the server holds completely unprotected trades — an inherent cost of hidden stops; assess network/VPS reliability first
  • Some brokers impose margin/risk requirements on unprotected positions — check platform rules before going live

Frequently asked questions

▸ Why hide stop-losses?

Visible SL/TP are public information and can be targeted; hiding them keeps your risk levels invisible to counterparties and brokers.

▸ What if I lose connection?

That's the scheme's core weakness: server-side trades are unprotected. Run it on a stable VPS and keep a server-side fallback.

▸ Does it open trades for me?

No — it only manages exit timing for existing positions.
