What is this

AutoTrading Scheduler is a management EA for MT4/MT5: it flips the platform-wide AutoTrading switch on/off per your weekly timetable, can close all positions and pending orders before disabling, and fires alerts on trigger. It makes no trading decisions itself — it only decides when your EAs are allowed to trade, acting as a discipline gate for fully automated portfolios.

How it works

  1. Per-weekday windows define when AutoTrading is allowed; all seven days are configured independently
  2. The switch is pressed/released automatically at window boundaries
  3. Optional: close every open position and cancel pendings before disabling; pop-up/e-mail/push alerts on trigger

    Grab the zip via the buttons above

    Put .ex4/.ex5 and .mq4/.mq5 into the matching MQL4/MQL5 folders

  3. 3. Enable

    Restart or refresh the Navigator, drag it onto a chart, allow automated trading

Usage notes

  • The zip keeps the Experts/AutoTrading Scheduler layout (with its .mqh) — extract as-is and compile
  • All times are broker server time; configure each terminal separately

⚠ Risk notes

  • It guards only the master switch — built-in timers inside other programs are unaffected; recheck the server timezone after switching brokers

Frequently asked questions

▸ Does it trade?

No. It only controls the AutoTrading master switch (plus optional closing) — no directional logic at all.

▸ Can it auto-stop on weekends?

Yes, all seven days are independently configurable, weekends included — though no trading happens while the market is closed anyway.

▸ Does it conflict with an EA's own time filter?

They stack rather than conflict: the EA's internal filter applies first, then the platform switch — both must allow trading.
