What is Camovia Tray?
A tray assistant for MT4/MT5 - silent tracking, one-click close: hover the system tray to check the latest quotes and manage open positions (click an order to close it), hide the MT5/MT4 main window in one click, and keep quote and position data entirely on your computer.
Do I need MT5/MT4 installed? Does the terminal need to stay open?
Yes. Camovia Tray reads quote and position data from your locally running MT5/MT4 terminal, so the terminal must be installed, running, and logged in. MT5 connects directly with no EA; MT4 needs the bundled bridge EA attached once (one-click copy in Settings, then double-click in the Navigator - see the docs).
Are my quotes and positions uploaded anywhere?
No. Quote and position data is read 100% from your local MT5/MT4 terminal and never leaves your computer. See the privacy policy for details.
Which systems and terminals are supported?
Windows 10 / 11, with MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4 (installed and logged in; MT4 needs the bridge EA attached once).
Is the MT4 bridge EA safe? What do I need to enable?
Yes. The bridge EA (CamoviaBridge) is bundled with the app - it only reads quotes/positions locally and executes close commands; no DLLs, no data uploads. Closing positions requires turning on AutoTrading in the MT4 toolbar.
How much does it cost? Is there a free trial?
Subscription pricing starts at $2.49/month (also $6.99/3 months, $13.49/6 months, $23.99/year), all plans with full features. New users get a 2-day free trial on first activation (once per device and per email), then decide whether to subscribe.
How do I restore the MT5/MT4 window after hiding it?
Choose "Show MT5/MT4" from the system tray menu and the window returns to its previous position. You can also hover the tray to check quotes and manage positions without opening the terminal.
Can it replace MT5/MT4 for trading?
No - Camovia Tray is a local shortcut tool. You can close positions right from the popup; all trading operations (opening, closing, etc.) are submitted by your local MT5/MT4 terminal to your own broker account. The app does not hold your funds or provide investment advice.
Can the tray icon be disguised?
Yes. The tray icon can disguise itself as a cloud drive or a common system tool, so market watching stays low-key.
What is the tray lock feature?
Lock the tray function instantly at key moments to protect your privacy and prevent private information from leaking.
What information can I monitor?
Quotes and open positions: symbol, direction, open time, current P&L, and more - all visible in the popup positions tab. Click an order to close it.
Which languages are supported?
Chinese and English, switchable on both the website and the client.
